In order to build the capacity of the officers in the Ministry of Local Governance and Provincial Councils in the North Central Province, the Rajarata University of Sri Lanka and the Sri Lanka Institute of Local Governance (SLILG) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to deliver five (05) certificate courses. The faculty of agriculture will act as the coordinating faculty for these certificate courses in addition to providing the expertise of the pertinent courses.
Dr. Suratissa Dissanayaka, Chief Executive Officer/Director, joined two other SLILG officials, Prof. (Mrs) G.A.S. Ginigaddara, Vice Chancellor of RUSL, Prof. G.V.T.V. Weerasuriya, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, and the course coordinators, Assoc. Prof. D.M.S.H. Dissanayaka, Dr. S.N. Dissanayake, and Mrs. W. Dilrikshi participated in the event.
