On April 21, 2023, in the auditorium of the main administrative building, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka presented awards to its top 20 researchers for the academic year 2022.
The chief guest of the event was Prof. (Mrs.) G.A.S. Ginigaddara, Vice Chancellor of the Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, along with the Deans of the faculties of Agriculture, Applied Sciences, Management Studies, and Technology, Professor GVTV Weerasuriya, Professor Ranjith Edirisinghe, Professor Bandula Jayathilaka and Dr. TC Bamunuarachchige respectively, Acting Liberian, Mrs. W.P.T. Dilrukshi, Registrar Mr. AMGB Abeysinghe, and Acting Bursar Mr. Sampath Godakumbura.
