The newly constructed open art theater of the Faculty of Agriculture was opened ceremonially on October 3rd, 2023 by Professor GAS. Ginigaddara, Vice Chancellor of the Rajarata University of Sri Lanka. Professor GVTV. Weerasooriya, Dean, Faculty of Agriculture; Professor NS. Abeysingha, Project Coordinator, AHEAD Faculty Development Project; and Professor AMJB. Adikari, former Dean, Faculty of Agriculture, participated in the ceremony. The theater was constructed under the AHEAD project and the ceremony was with captivating cultural performances, showcasing the students of the Faculty of Agriculture.
