The orientation program for the new student batch of the external degree program (B.Sc. (External) degree in Biological Sciences and Physical Sciences) in the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Rajarata University was conducted on the 10thof February 2024. This event was graced by the chief guest Prof. (Mrs.). GAS. Ginigaddara, Vice Chancellor, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, Dr. Manoj Fernando, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Dr. Asanga Wijethunga, and Dr Chathuranga Thotawaththage, Deputy Registrar – CDCE, and the other University officials. This program serves to familiarize students with the structure of the external degree program, academic policies, support services, and other essential information. It is also an opportunity for students to meet faculty members, administrative staff, and classmates, fostering community among the new cohort.
