On the 13th of March 2024, the Faculty premises buzzed with excitement and intellectual fervor as the much-anticipated 06thApplied Sciences Undergraduate Research Sessions (ASURS) unfolded. ASURS, an annual event, holds a unique place in the academic calendar, bringing together various programs to provide students with unparalleled opportunities for growth and learning. Dr. Dilani K. Hettiarachchi chaired this year’s edition of ASURS. On the auspicious day of March 13th,2024, the faculty premises bore witness to a gathering of esteemed individuals, eager minds, and boundless potential as the Applied Sciences Undergraduate Research Sessions (ASURS) unfolded. The inauguration ceremony, graced by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Mrs.) GAS. Ginigaddara, alongside the Deans of the Faculties, Registrar, Bursar, academic and non-academic staff members, panelists, presenters, and students, set the stage for a day of intellectual exchange and discovery.
