A Festive Start to the Academic Year 2024: New Year Celebration and Commencement of Work at Rajarata University of Sri Lanka

On January 1st, 2024, the academic community of Rajarata University of Sri Lanka came together to celebrate the start of a new year, and the campus was filled with enthusiasm. Prof. (Mrs.) GAS. Ginigaddara, the Vice Chancellor, took the lead to for an outstanding occasion that brought staff, educators, and pupils together to celebrate the start of a promising new chapter.
Raising the flags, the Vice Chancellor’s special New Year’s Eve speech, and the staff’s administration of the official oath marked the start of the festivities. The Vice Chancellor gave thanks for the year’s accomplishments and outlined her goals for the university for the upcoming year. The address emphasized the dedication to academic excellence and the group efforts of the university community in overcoming obstacles.
The Vice Chancellor also used the occasion to praise and recognize exceptional accomplishments within the university community as part of the New Year’s celebration. Members of the University received awards for their long and devoted service.
