Baur & Co. Pvt. Ltd., a company with over 127 years of legacy in Sri Lanka, demonstrated its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility by donating five laptops to Rajarata University of Sri Lanka. The donation, aimed at empowering deserving students and supporting their academic pursuits, reflects Baur & Co.’s dedication to uplifting local communities through impactful initiatives.

The Laptop Donation Giveaway Ceremony took place on November 12, 2024, at the Main Auditorium of the Rajarata University’s Main Administrative Building from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Esteemed representatives from A. Baur & Co. Pvt. Ltd., including Mr. Ken Vijaykumar, Senior General Manager – HR, Admin, Purchasing & Sustainability, and Mr. Kapila Priyantha, General Manager – Finance, attended the ceremony. Rajarata University’s distinguished participants included the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Mrs.) G.A.S. Ginigaddara, Deans of faculties, the Chief Student Counselor, Senior Student Counselors, the Registrar, the Bursar, and other senior university officials, along with members of the Student Union and the student community.
