The Culmination Programme of the Short Course on Parliamentary Functions and Procedures organized by the Department of Social Sciences, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, Mihintale with the collaboration of Sri Lanka Parliament, Communication Department of Sri Lanka Parliament and National Democratic Institute was held on 26th of February, 2024 at Convocation Hall, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, Mihintale.
With the presence of the Chief Guest, Prof. (Mrs.) GAS. Ginigaddara, Vice Chancellor, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, All Deans of the Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, All Heads, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, The Special Guest Ms. Kushani Rohanadeera, Secretary General of Sri Lanka Parliament, Ms. Tharanga Gunasinghe – Senior Program Manager of and National Democratic Institute, Sri Lanka, Mr. Siyath Ahmed, Librarian of Sri Lanka Parliament, Ms. Sujeewee Gamage, Coordinating Secretary of the Secretary-General, Mrs. Budhini Ramanayake, Manager – Public Services and academic staff the Culmination Programme held successfully. Nearly 325 undergraduates who completed the Short Course on Parliamentary Functions and Procedures in 2023 received their certificates and for the Best 10 Students, Sri Lanka Parliament awarded some special gifts.
