The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at Rajarata University of Sri Lanka conducted the First National Conference on Foreign Languages and Literature on September 5, 2023 in the main auditorium. Prof. Sanjeewanie Ginigaddara, Vice Chancellor of Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, attended as the event’s chief guest. Head of the Department of Languages Ven. Prof. Olaganwatte Chandasiri Thero served as conference chair, while Ven. Pusselle Wineetha Thero served as conference secretary. Associate Professor Bimali Indrarathna of York University in the United Kingdom gave the keynote address on “Demonstrating Research Excellence in Languages and Cultural Learning.”
