Rajarata University of Sri Lanka played a pivotal role as an academic partner in the “Future Harvest” Agri-Food-Tech Expo 2024, aimed at showcasing cutting-edge advancements in Agri-Food-Tech and attracting a global audience. The expo, organized by EventMate (Pvt) Limited in collaboration with AgroMate (Pvt.) Limited, received substantial support from governmental organizations, including the Presidential Secretariat and Ministry of Agriculture.

As an academic partner, Rajarata University actively contributed to the planning, organization, and execution of the event. The university also secured a complimentary stall at the exhibition, further enhancing its involvement and to attract potential commercial partners to commercialize its products.

The presence of esteemed dignitaries, including Prof. (Mrs) GAS. Ginigaddara, the Vice Chancellor of Rajarata University, and Prof. Manoj Samarathunga, Director of the University Business Linkage Cell, added prestige to the event. Notable Sri Lankan companies, investors, and international participants also graced the occasion. The expo unfolded at the BMICH from March 29th to 31st, 2024, marking a significant milestone in fostering innovation and collaboration in the Agri-Food-Tech sector.
