The Department of Physical Education successfully organized the 25th Inter-Faculty Sports Tournament, a significant annual internal Sport event, held from March 23^rd to April 09^th, 2024. This year, the tournament featured 33 championships across 21 sports, with approximately 2700 students participating in various athletic disciplines. New additions to this year’s lineup included Taekwondo, Basketball, and Baseball.

The range of sports events included Badminton, Baseball, Basketball, Carrom, Chess, Cricket, Cross Country, Elle, Football, Hockey, Karate, Netball, Volleyball, Rugby, Swimming, Taekwondo, Table Tennis, Weightlifting, Wrestling, and Track & Field. These events not only provided a platform for students to showcase their athletic prowess but also promoted a spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie among participants.

Champion: Faculty of Management Studies

1^st Runner-up: Faculty of Technology

2^nd Runner-up: Faculty of Applied Science

4^th place: Faculty of Medicine & Allied Sciences

5^th place: Faculty of Agriculture

6^th place: Faculty of Social Sciences & Humanities

The Closing Ceremony of the tournament, held on April 09^th, 2024, was a grand event graced by the presence of Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Mrs.) GAS. Ginigaddara. The ceremony served as a fitting conclusion to the spirited competitions, celebrating the talent, dedication, and sportsmanship displayed by all participating students.
