Major Role of the dept is planning, designing, developing and Maintenance of the University Landscape.Our university landscape is planned mainly as Arboretum type landscape with streetscapes and mixed type landscapes around buildings which are suitable for our climate and soil. According to topography of this area the natural beauty of this campus is unmatched with view of Mihintale temple, lake, rocks, boulders, dry streams etc.
