Rajarata University of Sri Lanka (RUSL) signed an agreement with the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) on 9th December 2024 at the Vice Chancellor’s Office. This agreement underscores RUSL’s commitment to advancing the professional development of Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) through enhanced educational opportunities.

Under the leadership of Vice-Chancellor Professor (Mrs.) G.A.S. Gingaddara, the University delegation spearheaded the negotiations. Members from RUSL present at the event included the Dean of the Faculty of Management, Prof. PMB Jayathilake, Senior Lecturer Dr. PR Weerathnga, and other key University officials, all contributing to the successful establishment of this partnership.

Representing the SLAF, Acting Commandant Group Captain Asela Kuruwita led the delegation, which included Commanding Officer Ground Training Wing Group Captain Nirosha Senadheera, Commanding Officer Non-Commissioned Officers’ Management School Wing Commander Dinesh Hathurusinghe, and Chief Instructor Squadron Leader SMKP Samarakoon. Their presence signified the SLAF’s strong commitment to partnering with RUSL in this educational initiative.
