The non-academic Training Cell, a dedicated training facility for non-academic staff members, was declared open by the Vice Chancellor, Prof (Mrs.) G.A.S Ginigaddara at the Staff Development Center of the Rajarata University of Sri Lanka on 30th April 2024. This centre was partially funded by the Erasmus+ program through the project “Enhancing Governance, Management and Reform in Sri Lankan Universities through Non-Academic Staff Training (ENACT).
The establishment of the Non-academic Training Cell will expand training opportunities for non-academic staff members of the University. Approximately 15 staff members can participate in training programs and group discussions in this training Cell and it is equipped with a Smart Board and computers to facilitate online training programs as well.
