Delegates from O.P. Jindal Global University Visit

On November 18, 2024, Assistant Professor Rahul Bhandari and Assistant Professor Gaurav Shukla, delegates from O.P. Jindal Global University, India, ranked as the number one private university and a not-for-profit organization, visited Rajarata University of Sri Lanka.
The meeting, chaired by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sanjeewani Ginigaddara, was held at the Office of the Vice-Chancellor. The visit was coordinated by Professor T. Mangaleswaran, who also participated in the discussions. During the meeting, the delegates presented opportunities for collaboration, including a faculty fellowship program where faculty members of Rajarata University can visit O.P. Jindal Global University for up to three months to engage in scholarly work and explore potential publications. They also proposed initiatives for student exchange programs and emphasized the potential for joint research and academic publications between the two universities.
The meeting was attended by the Deans of Faculties, the Director of International Relations at Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, the International Relations Coordinator of the Faculty of Management Studies, the Registrar, and the Bursar of the university.
The discussions were highly productive, highlighting significant opportunities for future collaboration. Both institutions expressed optimism about working together to enhance academic contributions and strengthen ties in the years to come.
