Department of Bioprocess Technology from Faculty of Technology, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka and Gunawardhana Ayurveda Holdings (Pvt) Ltd signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) through University Business Linkage Cell Rajarata University of Sri Lanka. The main objective of this collaboration is to develop goodwill and fellowship with the aim of mutual development of the capacities of both organizations towards developing commercializable research outcomes. The event took place at the Gunawardhana Ayurveda Holdings (Pvt) Ltd premises.

This understanding focuses mainly on sharing the knowledge between both the parties in crafting a better future along with the view of strong industry research collaboration which would also facilitate in sharing expertise, laboratory facilities, and exposure.

The MoU was ratified by Prof. (Mrs) G.A.S Ginigaddara, Vice-Chancellor – RUSL, Dr. Manoj Samarathunga Director, University Business Linkage Cell, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka Dr. T.C Bamunuarachchige, Head of the Department of Bioprocess Technology Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, Dr.(Mrs) N. Wijegunawardana Bioprocess Technology Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, and Dr. Sarath Somasiri Gunawardhana, Chairman, Gunawardhana Ayurveda Holdings (Pvt) Ltd, Dr. Sandun Sri Gunawardhana, CEO / Director of Gunawardhana Ayurveda Holdings (Pvt) Ltd and Dr. Kasun Sri Gunawardhana Director / Doctor in Charge of Gunawardhana Ayurveda Holdings (Pvt) Ltd.
