A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Rajarata University of Sri Lanka and Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) through the University Business Linkage Cell on 01st of September 2022 at the Senate Hall of Rajarata University of Sri Lanka.
The MoU was signed with the objectives of recognizing and capitalizing on the activities done by each party that are of mutually beneficial including, but not limited to: promoting Capital Market education within the University, opening up internship opportunities for the undergraduates, and granting funds for student activities.
The Vice Chancellor of Rajarata University Prof. (Mrs.) G.A.S. Ginigaddara, Prof. P.M.B. Jayathilake, Dean, Faculty of Management Studies, Dr. W.H.M.S. Samarathunga, Director, University Business Linkage Cell, Mr. Niroshan Wijesundara Senior Vice President, Mr. Tharaka Amarasena, Manger, Anuradhapura Branch of CSE and the Education wing signed the MOU on behalf of the respective organizations. The event was also graced by the presence of Deans of other faculties, the Librarian, Head of Departments, Professors, and other invitees.
