On January 26, 2024, in honor of the university’s 28th anniversary, the Rajarata University of Sri Lanka Alumni Association (RUSLAA) sponsored a Career Guidance Workshop and a Panel Discussion with the theme “Unlocking Excellence” for RUSL undergraduate students. The event was held in the Auditorium of the Faculty of Management Studies, RUSL, under the patronage of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Mrs.)GAS. Ginigaddara.

The session was attended by over 150 students, representatives of the university’s academic and non-academic staff, Mr. Kamal Ajith Warshawithana, President of RUSLAA, and other Executive Committee members.

The workshop and panel discussion included renowned RUSL alumni as resource persons: Dr. Harsha Paranavithana, Deputy Director, Economic Research Department, Central Bank of Sri Lanka; Dr. Sumith de Silva, Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications, Bandaranayaka International Airport (BIA); Dr. Prasad Dharmasena, Director/CEO, Agriculture/Plantation, National Institute of Plantation Management; Mr. Dheera Hettiarachchi, Cluster Head, Travel & Tourism, Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism & Hotel Management; and Ms. Bhagya Senevirathne, Manager, Business Application/ Consultant, MAS Line Intimo.
