Workshop for Non-academic Staff Members on Soft Skills Improvement
Staff Development Centre of the University organizes a workshop for non-academic staff members on “Soft Skills Improvement”. The aim of this program is to improve career and professional development of non-academic staff members of the University.
CTHE program 2022
The academic staff induction program for year 2022 was completed successfully with 31 participants including internal and external participants of University system.
Workshop for Technical Officers and Technicians on Computers and Peripherals Maintenance
Staff Development Centre together with IT Centre of the University organized a two-day workshop for Technical Officers and Technicians on Computers and Peripherals Maintenance. The aim of this program is to improve knowledge and skills regarding, repairing and troubleshooting of Laptops, Desktop PCs, Printers and UPSs.
Workshop on “Internationalization of Higher Educational Institutes”
University staff who were trained by ERUSMUS+ funded ENACT project conducted training for all staff categories on Internationalization.
Soft Skill Development Program for Non-academic staff members
Staff Development Centre has successfully completed a training program to develop soft skills of the non-academic staff including executive officers, management assistants, technical officers and work aids of the University
Training Program for Student Counsellors of the University
Staff Development Centre together with Chief Student Counsellor of the University, organized a one-day training program for student counsellors of the University. The aim of this program is to improve knowledge, skills and the capacity of the student counsellors to perform their role effectively.
Workshop on Academic Auditing
SDC successfully completed a workshop on “Academic Auditing” for academic staff members of the University.
Workshop on Standard Procedure for Improving Quality of Documentation
Staff Development Centre has started a workshop on “Standard Procedure for Improving Quality of Documentation” With an aim of improving the knowledge among the University staff members. Especially this time organized for directors of the centers, Quality Assurance coordinators, Academic staff members & Executive officers of the University
Workshop on Technical Aspects of the Equipments
Staff Development Centre of the University initiated a workshop on “Technical Aspects of the Equipments” for supportive non-academic staff members of the University.

Academic staff induction program
Certificate of Teaching in Higher Education (CTHE) – Staff Induction Program is an annual training program for the probationers offered by SDC. Academic members from any University or higher education institute can apply for this program. The proposed training program was to cover eight major areas organized into separate modules based on the Training Manual from UGC.

Training program for executive staff and head of academic department on University financial and administrative procedures
The SDC organized a training program for executive staff and head of academic department (senior academics) on university financial and administrative procedures. This training program consist on 8 modules, as a six-day program to be conducted on one day per week for six weeks. Academic and executive staff from any university can apply for this program.
